Developing an IT Strategy for a regional NDIS provider

Amicus is a regional NDIS provider. They support people living with a disability of all ages and vulnerable children to dream big and to live a good life. We recently supported the lovely people at Amicus with an IT Strategy project.

Challenge

Amicus needed support to align their IT with the organisation’s strategic priorities and have a strategy to enable the best management of their IT in order to support the organisation to achieve its corporate objectives.

Strategies Implemented

  • Undertook a current state and risk assessment of technology environment

  • Developed network and infrastructure design

  • Comparison of business systems and RFP approach for selecting CMS application

  • Developed ICT Roadmap and Implementation approach

  • Presented proposed approach to Executive and Board members

Outcomes

  • Development of Current State and Risk Assessment, highlighting current application stack and operational risk

  • Developed network and infrastructure design

  • Delivered implementation roadmap, prioritising risk mitigation, business system consolidation and cost reduction

  • Presentation of ICT Strategic Plan to Amicus’ Board

  • Additional Information Management project established

Amicus has been able to align IT with the organisation’s strategic priorities.
